Economic Empowerment Initiative For Disabled Individuals

Disability Bridge Uganda is proud to announce our fundraising goal of $42,405.11 for the "Economic Empowerment Initiative For Disabled Individuals."

This project is dedicated to providing vocational training and resources to disabled individuals, empowering them to achieve economic independence.

Breakdown of Project Costs:

Capacity Building: $1,000 per session.

Motorcycle Repair Training: For 13 individuals, $2,493.15 per term, totaling $7,479.45 for three terms.

Tailoring Training: For 20 individuals, $3,835.62 per term, totaling $11,506.86 for three terms.

Shoe Making & Leather Products Training: For 10 individuals, $1,917.81 per term, totaling $5,753.43 for three terms.

Post-Training Resources:

Motorcycle Repair Toolboxes: $180.56 each for 13 individuals, totaling $1,800.

Tailoring Machines: $125 each for 20 individuals, totaling $2,500.

Shoe Making & Leather Workshop Equipment: $4,166.67 for all 10 individuals.

Startup Capital: $200 each for 43 candidates, totaling $8,600.

Operational Costs:

Field Workers: One motorcycle at a one-time purchase of $1,805.56.

Motorcycle Fuel and Maintenance: $120 monthly for 15 months, totaling $1,800.

Volunteer Staff Salaries: $500 per month for 15 months, totaling $7,500.
